Upon leaving middle school, students must have 3 credits in the following courses English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies; of which one of their Social Studies courses must be Civics. Students are tested on English Language Arts and Mathematics in each grade, being assessed on Civics* in the 7th grade and Science* in the 8th grade. For each year in which a student scores at Level l on FSA ELA Reading, the student must be enrolled in and complete an intensive reading course the following year. Placement of Level 2 readers in either an intensive reading course or a content area course in which reading strategies are delivered shall be determined by diagnosis of reading needs.Students not fulfilling the necessary course work maybe retained from matriculating to high school. In addition, a student must maintain a 2.0 GPA in all course work to be promoted.

In-County

  • Florida Immunization Form DH680 (7th/8th)
  • Withdrawal Forms/Academic Transcripts of all previous schools
  • Name of Previous School City/State Main Phone Fax#
  • Two proofs of residence (Must include name and current physical address)
  • Apartment rent receipt, or home lease agreement
  • Current utility bill (electric, gas, water, cable, home or cell phone bill)
  • Current Voter registration document or State of Florida Identification card
  • Proof of current government benefits Current Florida driver license, automobile registration of automobile insurance.

Out of County/State/Country

  • Birth Certificate with seal
  • Physical (within 12 months)
  • Florida Immunization Form DH680 (7th/8th)
  • Withdrawal Forms/Academic Transcripts of all previous schools
  • Name of Previous School City/State
